With this website I hope to facilitate and contribute to constructive public debate on the future of our great country, the challenges we face and what lies beyond the horizon. I believe our destiny is to show the world that a progressive, vigorous multi-ethnic democracy can thrive in the twenty-first century and be a model for a troubled world.

I have recently updated most of my entries on the Ideas page to reflect, for example, the latest federal budget, the Manley Report, and other developments.

I have also launched a blog at www.canadianswithoutborders.blogspot.com with my first entry entitled "Harper and immigration: divisive policy by stealth. Petty politics and power plays trump vision and principle."
